Noble adds one well to Suriname drillship contract

Offshore rig owner Noble has secured additional work for its drillship Noble Voyager in Suriname.

Malaysia’s Petronas has exercised its option to add one more well to the floater’s contract in Block 52 at $470,000 per day.

The contract extension will see the 2015-built unit utilised for about 70 days with the campaign starting in direct continuation of the current well.

“This extension continues our very important collaboration with Petronas over several years on the Suriname drilling campaign,” said Blake Denton, senior vice president of marketing and contracts.
