Noble Corporation awarded contract extensions

Offshore driller Noble Corporation has secured new contracts for a drillship and a jackup drilling rig, according to the company’s latest fleet status report.

Apache has exercised two of three optional wells utilising 2014-built drillship Noble Sam Croft, extending the contract to March 2020.

Additionally, Spirit Energy has exercised the final option for 2009-built jackup rig Noble Hans Deul, which has extended the contract to late April 2020.

Noble Corporation currently operates a fleet of 25 drilling units made up of eight drillships, 13 jackup rigs and four semi-submersible rigs.
