Ocean Installer awarded more work by Equinor

Marine construction contractor Ocean Installer has secured more work with Equinor in the Norwegian Sea.

The new contract covers the so-called subsea lines modification (SLM) project on the Åsgard A production vessel, adding to previously secured projects in 2023 on Vigdis, Visund, Åsgard C and the Northern Lights CO2 pipeline.

The scope of work involves recovery of two risers, installation of one new riser and flexible jumper and engineering, procurement, and installation of GRP covers to protect the jumper, Ocean Installer said.

Offshore operations are scheduled for fall this year. Financial terms of the latest deal were not divulged.
