Ocean Installer wins UFR job from Total off Congo

Norwegian subsea specialist Ocean Installer has won a contract from Total E&P Congo for deep water umbilicals, flowlines, risers installation at the Moho Nord field off the coast of the Republic of Congo.

Ocean Installer will pre-commission and install an umbilical, multi-phase pump, flying leads and spools inclusive of the project management, engineering and logistics, in addition to the offshore work.

Ocean Installer will utilise DP3 construction support vessel Normand Vision, in what is the company’s first major operation in West Africa.

The Moho Nord field is located 75km off the coast of the Republic of Congo in water depths ranging from 450-1,200m.
