Oceaneering awarded Australian contract

Oceaneering’s unit in Australia has secured an inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) and survey contract from an undisclosed energy major.

Under the contract with an undisclosed value, Oceaneering will mobilise in mid-November to carry out the work scopes that include the provision of remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and survey personnel and equipment, subsea inspection, onshore project management and engineering, data processing and associated deliverables

The offshore campaign is expected to take 15 days to complete, the company said.

Oceaneering has been operating in Australia for 50 years and this will be the company’s first survey scope in Australia.

“This project seamlessly integrates Oceaneering’s extensive global expertise in IMR, survey, ROV services and asset integrity into a cohesive project, delivering added value to our local clients, remarked Vandana Crispin, Oceaneering’s senior manager for IMR and integrated projects in the APAC.
