Odfjell Drilling semi-sub awarded one well contract

Norwegian offshore driller Odfjell Drilling has received a letter of intent from an undisclosed party for further employment for its semi-submersible drilling rig Deepsea Bergen, for one firm well plus options for two additional wells on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The contract is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2018 and has an expected duration of around 100 days.

Deepsea Bergen is currently operating for Statoil on the NCS until mid July 2017.
