Shanghai: German shipowner Oldendorff has exercised a newcastlemax option at Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding at the cost of around US$55m.
The 208,000 dwt bulk carrier is due to delivered at the end of 2016.
The original contract was signed in October 2013, consisting of 4+2 bulk carriers, and Oldendorff still has one more option to exercise. [28/01/14]
