German dry bulk shipping operator Oldendorff has placed an order at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard for the construction of two 21,500 dwt self-unloading bulk carriers.

The vessels, which will equipped with scrubbers to meet the upcoming IMO regulations, are expected to be delivered in 2020.

This week, CSSC Chengxi also secured an order from a joint venture by CSL Group and HJH Shipmanagement for one additional 40,000 dwt bulker.
