Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) the master developer of ports and industrial zones in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and container terminal operator Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) said Wednesday that one million containers have now been handled by Abu Dhabi Terminals at Khalifa Port since its commercial opening at the end of 2012.
In October, more than 100,000 teu passed through the port. Khalifa Port began commercial operations at the end of last year when all container traffic was transferred from the city centre Port Zayed to the new state-of-the-art flagship facility, Khalifa Port. [05/12/13]
