Perdana wins accommodation barge deal and extension for another

Malaysian offshore marine support services firm Perdana Petroleum has won a contract for one accommodation work barge and an extension for another from Saujana Marine.

Perdana said in a Bursa Malaysia filing that the new deal was for a duration of up to 240 days with one extension option of up to 30 days. The contract is valued at approximately RM22.1m ($4.6m), excluding the option period.

Under the scope of the contract, Perdana will provide the unit with crew and equipment to perform services under Saujana Marine’s project activities. Work under the deal is underway.

The extension was for one accommodation work barge contract Perdana won from Saujana Marine on October 31, 2023.

The extension is for 220 days which is already active. The value of the deal extension is approximately RM16.2m ($3.38m).

Earlier this month, Perdana won two other contracts worth a total of RM14.3m ($3m) from ROC Oil and T7 Marine.

The first contract, valued at RM8.4m ($1.75m) from ROC Oil, was for an AHTS, while the second deal, worth RM5.9m ($1.25m) from T7 Marine, was for an accommodation work barge.
