Petredec eyes SE Asian LPG storage depots

Singapore: Petredec, one of the world’s largest traders of LPG, has big ambitions to grow its downstream and storage operations in Southeast Asia.

Giles Fearn (pictured), chief executive of the LPG giant, told SeaShip News his firm is looking at investments in South and East Africa as well as the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal and Southeast Asia.

Petredec has had an office in Singapore since 1995 and has become the largest shipper of LPG East of Suez in the world. Petredec is also the largest supplier of LPG in to Southeast Asia with a 10 year agreement to supply Indonesia.  [23/08/13]
