Petrofac wins more EPC work on ONEgas’ Southern North Sea assets

Offshore engineering specialist Petrofac has won a contract extension in the Southern North Sea with ONEgas West, a joint venture between Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) and Shell.

The two-year brownfield engineering, procurement, and construction contract award extends the previous three-year deal.

Petrofac will continue to provide services across ONEgas West’s Southern North Sea portfolio, supporting the Clipper South complex, Leman Alpha assets, Bacton Terminal, and ONEgas Barge campaigns.

The initial deal between the two was agreed back in July 2021. The three-year deal was accompanied by two one-year extension options. The 2021 deal was for work on the same assets as the latest one.

“This contract award demonstrates ONEgas’ continued confidence in the value our teams in Great Yarmouth and Aberdeen add to its operations,” said Nick Shorten, COO of Petrofac’s Asset Solutions business.
