PGS bags Barents Sea survey deal

Norwegian offshore seismic acquisition specialist PGS has won a new 3D survey contract in the Barents Sea.

The 2017-built Titan-class vessel Ramform Hyperion is mobilising for the survey which should last about 40 days.

The 24-streamer ship most recently executed projects in the Mediterranean region.

The contract value has not been disclosed, but as per PGS’ Oslo filing practice, the deal is worth $10m or more.
