SapuraKencana wins EPCIC contracts worth $415m

Kuala Lumpur: Just a few days after announcing three new contracts and an extension worth RM700m, Malaysian offshore outfit SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad has announced that subsidiary Kencana HL has won two further contracts worth around RM1.3b ($415m).
 
Both deals are engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contracts. One is for three remote wellhead platforms in the North Malay Basin by Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia for a period of approximately 25 months while the other is for four wellhead platforms and associated subsea pipelines for JDA Block B-17 and B17-01 Field Phase 3 Development Project by Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company for a period of 39 months.
 
Both projects are expected to start this month. [20/06/14]
