Seadrill clinches $79m drillship contract extension in US Gulf

Seadrill

New York and Oslo-listed offshore driller Seadrill has secured around six months of extensions with LLOG Exploration Offshore for its drillship West Neptune operating in the US Gulf of Mexico. 

The extensions will kick off in direct continuation of the existing contract, keeping the 2014-built floater busy until the third quarter of 2024.

The total contract value for the extension is approximately $79m.
