Sealink sells marine support vessel duo
Kuala Lumpur: Sealink International has sold two of its marine support vessels for the combined price of RM 17.4m ($5m).
Sealink Pacific, a subsidiary of the Malaysia-listed owner, sold the landing craft Victoria 9 (382 DWT, built 2013) to a buyer in Samoa for $1.5m.
Navitex Shipping, another Sealink subsidiary, sold an unnamed 2004-built vessel to buyers from Vietnam for $3.5m.
The total net proceeds from the two deals will be RM16.1m ($4.6m), which Sealink says will be used for working capital purposes.[10/12/14]
