Fast-growing Seven Islands Shipping is sourcing plenty of tankers to serve India’s growing energy demands.
Its latest registered deal is the 14-year-old, Iwagi-built, 48,000 dwt Vanda, paying Adora Holding $23.5m for the tanker. This is the fourth MR Seven Islands has added this year and the third MR purchase in as many months.
The Indian line now has 26 tankers in its fleet.
