Shearwater GeoServices awarded Black Sea seismic contract by Shell

Seismic specialist Shearwater GeoServices has been awarded a seismic acquisition contract by Royal Dutch Shell.

The survey covers an area of approximately 600 sq km in the western Black Sea. It is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2019 and has an estimated duration of one month.

Shearwater GeoServices, a JV between GC Rieber and Rasmussengruppen, will utilise Polar Empress for the project.
