Siem Offshore scores vessel contract with PXGEO

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Siem Offshore has struck a deal with marine seismic player PXGEO for the offshore subsea construction vessel (OSCV) Siem Spearfish.

The Oslo-listed company has fixed the 2014-built vessel for one year to support PXGEO’s worldwide operations.

The contract starts mid-February after the completion of the vessel’s class renewal and comes with a one-year extension option.

The OSCV was previously on contract with subsea contractor DeepOcean undertaking projects within offshore construction and inspection, maintenance and repair segments.
