Siem Offshore secures more work for MPSV

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Siem Offshore has secured a contract extension for its multipurpose support vessel Siem Dorado.

The Cayman Islands-incorporated firm said the contract will commence in direct continuation of the vessel’s current employment and operations are expected to be primarily outside the North Sea.

In September last year, Siem fixed the 2009-built MPSV through to the end of the second quarter of 2024.

The new extension will keep the ship utilised for a period reaching towards the end of Q4 this year.
