Dubai: A new container feeder service from Dubai’s Simatech Shipping will connect India’s southern ports of Chennai and Kochi with Jebel Ali in Dubai.
The Chennai-Colombo-Gulf (CCG) service will operate three 1,200 teu capacity vessels with the port rotation: Chennai, Colombo, Kochi Jebel Ali, Kochi, Colombo and Chennai, said a company press release.
Simatech-owned and operated vessels – Sima Perfect, Sima Prestige and Sima Sapphire – will be part of the weekly fixed sailing from Chennai every Friday at DP World Chennai container terminal inside the Chennai port. [19/02/14]
