Singapore: After a one year absence, the Singapore Marine Network is back and organising quarterly evening receptions, starting with an event scheduled for August 21 in O’Learys at Singapore Flyer.
The evening features a buffet dinner including live BBQ station, and is sponsored by Shipowners Club, Transas Marine, V.Ships, Wartsila and co-sponsored by Survival Craft Inspectorate and over 100 people are expected to attend.
The event organiser is Mohit Batra, md for Asia at Survival Craft Inspectorate, who commented, "“The Singapore Marine Network evenings have been a huge success since inception in early 2012. The whole idea was conceived by recognising the fact that there is a requirement for networking in the industry without having to sit through presentations or seminars. The network evenings although sponsored do not have any hidden agendas or presentation and cater to a relaxed environment, where senior industry professional come together and catch up with peers or meet new friends.” [15/07/14]
