Skansi Offshore bags PSV contract

Skansi Offshore has secured a contract with Norwegian mid-to-late-life operator OKEA for one of its platform supply vessels.

The Faroe Islands-based PSV specialist that lists five ships in its fleet has fixed the 2009-built 3,788 dwt Eldborg for six months.

The contract is most likely to start this week and OKEA has six additional one-month extension options available, according to brokers.

Dayrates have not been reported for the vessel that was most recently hired on the spot for Equinor at NOK125,000 per day for a two-week supply run.
