Solstad Offshore awarded CSV contract by Global Marine Group

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore has been awarded a long-term contract by Global Offshore, part of the Global Marine Group, for its construction support vessel Normand Clipper.

The contract will commence in the first quarter of 2020 and has a firm period of three years firm, with five years of options.

Global Offshore will utilise the vessel to support their cable lay operations within the renewable energy and oil & gas sectors.

Solstad Offshore has been awarded a slew of contracts in November, having secured an AHTS contract in Brazil and a six-vessel contract from Woodside.
