SolstadFarstad lands new Petrobras contracts

Norwegian offshore vessel owner SolstadFarstad has won a new contract and extended two others with Brazil’s Petrobras.

The new contract is for 2005-built AHTS BOS Topazio and is for three years commencing during the first quarter of 2019 in continuation of the current charter. The contract includes a two-year extension option.

Another AHTS, the 2000-built Far Santana, has been given a one-year extension through to the second quarter of 2019.

Lastly, 2001-built CSV Far Saga has been given a two-year extension through to the second quarter of 2020.

The three vessels are supporting exploration and production activities on Brazilian continental shelf.

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List.
