Subsea 7 awarded Brazilian work by Total

Norway’s Subsea 7 has secured a major contract from Total to support development of the Lapa North East field located offshore Brazil.

The work scope includes the transport, installation and pre-commissioning of 35 km of flexible pipelines and 20 km of umbilical, connecting five wells to the FPSO Cidade de Caraguatatuba. Project management and detailed engineering will commence immediately, while offshore activities are due to commence in the fourth quarter of 2019.
