Sven Zaadnoordijk appointed new CEO of Radio Holland

Radio Holland Group has appointed Sven Zaadnoordijk as its new chief executive officer, replacing Kees-Jan Mes effective from January 1.

Zaadnoordijk steps up from the role of CCO, having joined the group in 2012 and spending most of his time with the company in Asia.

Outgoing CEO Mes commented: “During the strategic development phase back in 2020, Sven Zaadnoordijk enhanced the global processes and brought Radio Holland back to the marketplace, having a continuous focus on a seamless customer journey, customer loyalty, employee engagement and group financials. Today, because of the joined efforts and flexibility of the Radio Holland team, the company is once again the frontrunner in the Maritime Navigation & Communication industry.”

The board of management said Zaadnoordijk was the ideal leader for the company due to his strategic acumen, coupled with his proven track record. A reason for Mes’s departure was not given.
