Taiwan and Hong Kong in joint cruise promotion

Taipei: Taiwan Tourism Bureau has signed a letter of intent with Hong Kong yesterday to jointly promote the cruise market in the region.

The two parties will cooperate to develop cruise liner business in the Asia-Pacific area and introducing routes to Taiwan and Hong Kong, according to the agreement.

The two sides also announced that they have reached an agreement with leading cruise liner, RCCL, to add routes between Taiwan and Hong Kong later this year. [06/06/13]
