Hanoi: Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) has started operations at its brand new Tan Cang-Hiep Phuoc Port.
The port lies on the Soai Rap Estuary and is aimed at reducing congestion at Cat Lai port.
The first phase can handle ships up to 50,000 dwt while work is now underway on a second phase due for completion next June. [17/12/14]
