Tianjin Port denies finance fraud

Dalian: Tianjin Port has announced that after an internal investigation it has found no evidence of an alleged fraud involving petrochemicals .

Earlier reports suggested police were investigating a suspected fraud case involving petrochemical products stored at Tianjin Port. The case involves a private Chinese fuel company and a trader.

A month ago, Qingdao Port was reported to have been involved in fraud regarding aluminium and copper products stored at the port warehouse. Qingdao Port later denied involvement in the case. [17/07/14]
