Trafigura readies green hydrogen supplies at European ports

Commodities giant Trafigura Group has bought out H2 Energy Europe with plans to ramp hydrogen production at strategic places across the continent including a Danish port. 

Plans to build a 1 GW green hydrogen facility in at the port of Esbjerg are progressing, with a final investment decision expected in 2024.

In South Wales, H2 Energy Europe has recently submitted a formal planning application to construct a 20 MW green hydrogen production facility within the port of Milford Haven.
