Uniper signs new charter for Diana Shipping panamax

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has signed a new time charter contract with Uniper Global Commodities for 2014-built ice class panamax Atalandi.

The new charter commences on July 7 and is for a period of 11-13 months at a rate of $12,250 per day. Uniper was previously paying $13,500 per day for the vessel.

Diana Shipping says the contract will generate around $4.04m of gross revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
