V.Ships Offshore awarded ship management contract by Fortress

V.Group has announced that its subsidiary, V.Ships Offshore, has secured a ship management contract from Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure Investors to provide full technical and crew management services for an advanced SURF/IMR vessel.

The ship management services will be delivered from V.Ships’ newly acquired Bibby Ship Management office in Singapore led by Arvind Mohan. Nineteen specialised seafarers are being deployed onboard the vessel, Pride, which has been on charter in Malaysian waters.

“We look forward to building this new relationship and working in collaboration with Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure Investors to help them manage their state-of-the-art vessel,” said Arvind Mohan, managing director V.Ships Offshore Singapore operation.

“With the combined experience and knowledge from Bibby Ship Management and V.Ships, we are demonstrating our ability to deliver safe, reliable and cost-effective asset management on behalf of our clients,” Alessandro Ciocchi, director V.Ships Offshore added.
