Dalian: As SinoShip News has been suggesting for the past few months the long simmering saga between Chinese authroties and Brazilian miner Vale over the latters VLOC access rights to the mainland would appear to be nearing an end.
Vale's head of iron-ore marketing Luiz Meriz told The Wall Street Journal yesterday that his company is now discussing technical requirements in Beijing for allowing the series of 400,000dwt ships to call at Chinese ports. [28/02/13]
