Vietnam to establish national port authority

Ho Chi Minh City: Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport is looking to create a powerful new national port authority to drive through stalled port projects in the country. Currently port development has been scattered and inefficient, driven by local governments and poor performing state-owned companies. The government will announce further details of the national port authority soon.  [02/10/12]
