Shanghai: Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has signed a newbuilding contract with Shandong Offshore Engineering Equipment, a company jointly invested in by Shandong Ocean Investment, Shandong Shipping and Qingdao Shipping, for the construction of two Gusto MSC CJ46 designed jack-up rigs.
The newbuildings are scheduled for delivery on 30 April and 30 September 2016, and will be deployed in overseas markets. [30/04/14]
