Yasa Shipping orders tanker quartet at Hyundai Mipo

Turkish shipowner Yasa Holding is said to have placed an order at South Korean yard Hyundai Mipo for the construction of four 49,000 dwt MR tankers.

Shipbroking sources tell Splash that the price for each vessel is in the region of $35m and delivery is scheduled from 2019.

Yasa Holding operates a fleet of 20 bulkers and six tankers. It has another eight ultramax bulkers under construction at Dalian Cosco KHI and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.
