Guangzhou: Zhuhai Port Group announced yesterday that the Ministry of Transport will provide policy support and subsidies to a drop and pull transport project which will be developed by two of its fully controlled subsidiaries Zhuhai Container Transport Co and Zhuhai Gangda Supply Chain Management Co.
The ministry will provide 10% of the total investment on the update of infrastructure and 20% of total investment on new drop and pull trucks.
Zhuhai Port said the project will increase the container transit efficiency and lower the operating expenses and carbon emissions of the port, and it will have a positive effect on the company’s future performance. [08/08/13]
