Alam Maritim wins Petronas contract

Malaysian offshore vessel operator Alam Maritim has said today that it has recently received a letter of award from Petronas Carigali for the provision of splash zone structural repair and maintenance.

The two year contract is effective from June 8, and includes a one year extension option.

The contract is valued at around RM 6m ($1.6m).

Earlier this year, Alam Maritim was award an umbrella contract from Petronas for the provision of spot charter marine vessels, joining the likes of Icon Offshore and Petra Energy.

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List.
