China crude oil imports up 6.8% in 2012

Beijing: China imported 271m tons of crude oil in 2012, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year, according to statistics from the General Administration of Customs.

Crude oil imports are expected to rich 285m tons this year, while the crude oil import dependence ratio will break through the 60% level, said Cheng Ruifeng, an analyst from Oilgas.com. [14/01/13]
