Havila Shipping disposes of AHTS pair

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Havila Shipping has sold two AHTS vessels, the 2008-built Posh Vibrant and the 2009-built Posh Virtue, as part of the wind-up process of the joint venture between Havila Shipping and PACC Offshore Services Holdings (Posh).

Havila Shipping announced it March that the 50/50 joint venture Posh Havila in Singapore would be wound up as part of its restructuring and four AHTS vessels in the jv fleet would be sold.

Another two AHTS vessels in the Posh Havila, Posh Viking and Posh Venture, have already been sold to Rosemary Overseas earlier in the year.

The vessels are expected delivered to new owner in early November.

Following the sale, it is expected that the lenders and Havila Holding will exercise warrants through debt conversions into new shares. Havila Shipping said the sale will have low impact on result and liquidity.
