Dubai: Kanoo Machinery, a member of The Kanoo Group has secured an exclusive long-term supply deal with DP World. Mishal Kanoo, deputy chairman of The Kanoo Group together with Esam Khoori, director-procurement of DP World yesterday signed the agreement at The Kanoo Group main office in Bur Dubai.
The contract includes an exclusive bulk supply of Hyster lift truck spare parts from Kanoo Machinery Praveen Hubli, aftermarket sales manager-UAE of Kanoo Machinery said: “The consignment stock concept discussed with DP World was very much appreciated and welcomed. DP World does not have to keep any inventory of spare parts for machines, as this will be done by Kanoo Machinery premises and the parts required will be available 24/7, so efficiency and delivery time are greatly reduced, thus giving immense benefit to both parties.” [24/04/13]
