KNOT Offshore Partners time charter extended by Statoil

Shuttle tanker limited partnership KNOT Offshore Partners has announced that Statoil has declared the final two options for the time charter of 2011-built Bodil Knutsen.

Wth the options declared, the time charter period extends through to May 2019 and KNOT has also granted Statoil an additional five one-year options.

KNOT Offshore Partners is sponsored by Knutsen NYK, which is jointly owned by TS Shipping Invest and Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK), and operates a fleet of two shuttle tankers in the North Sea and Brazil.

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
