As 2017 kicks off we’re asking readers whether this year will be any better for the various sectors in shipping. Our latest online survey, dubbed MarPoll, asks readers for a couple of minutes of their time. The survey needs no registration and has 10 simple questions posed. There is room for readers to leave comments by each answer if they want to expand on certain matters.

As well as looking at prospects for the different shipping sectors in 2017, the poll takes a look at global oil prices, the incoming 45th president of the United States and who might be next in container shipping’s great wave of consolidation with names such as Evergreen, Yang Ming and OOCL thrown into the mix.

Results of the survey will be carried in the next issue of Maritime CEO magazine.
