Shanghai: Bohai Ferry Co, an operator of passenger liners, surged 6.9% to RMB11.76 on its first day of trading in Shanghai. The company offered 101 million shares in its initial public offering and made around $175m from the move. Money will be spent making the ferry operator more of a regional player. [07/09/12]
