Shell invests US$100m to set up Tianjin lubricant plant

The world largest lubricant supplier Shell will invest US$100m to build its 7th lubricant plant in China.

Shell’s new plant with 300,000 metric tons capacity in Tianjin south port has started construction Thursday, the first phase investment amounting to US$100m. Shell expects the new plant in Tianjin south port to put into operation in 2015.
Currently, Shell has 6 lubricant plants in China, with an output capacity is around 1.5m tons/per year. [16/08/12]
