Siem Offshore wins series of new contracts

Norway’s Siem Offshore has announced a series of new contracts across its fleet.

Anchor handling tug supply vessels Siem Aquamarine and Siem Topaz have secured contracts from BHP Billiton for drilling work in Western Australia for a firm period of 240 days.

Another two AHTS vessels, Siem Garnet and Siem Sapphire, have been hired to support Gazprom’s Sakhalin operations for a firm contract period of 440 days.

Additionally, platform supply vessels Siem Louisa and Siem Sasha will commence a 290-day firm contract from the end of this month on the West Coast of Africa.

Lastly, OSCV Siem Marlin has started a 150-day charter in South America, while OSCV Siem Spearfish has started a 100-day charter in the Black Sea.

Siem Offshore said the multiple charter contacts are in line with the company’s strategy of strengthening its global operational footprint.
