Singapore: Nigel Anton, Standard Chartered’s recently Asian relocated ship finance boss has his eyes on the increasingly busy Malaysian maritime scene. Speaking to our sister site Maritime CEO, Anton, who switched from London to Hong Kong a month ago, said of the move, “It’s exciting for me to get a better feel on the Asia markets.”
Turning to specific areas he sees the bank making a greater impact in, Malaysia was near the top of the list with Anton telling Maritime CEO: “We are having a big push on Malaysia now, we want to do more there, so we are more active there now.”
