Swiber Holdings has announced that it has received a notice from Singapore’s Commercial Affairs Department that it is investigating an offence under the Securities and Futures Act according to the provisions of the criminal procedure code.
The department has not disclosed to the company any further details on its investigations and has requested the access to a series of company files, including all corporate secretarial documents, all stock exchange announcements and all accounting records, for the purpose of the investigations.
Swiber Holdings said it will fully cooperate with the investigations.
Financially troubled Swiber Holdings officially went into judicial management in October.
