Triyards wins twin liftboat order worth $175m

Singapore: Triyards Holdings has won a $175m order for two enhanced BH450 series liftboats.

The two new orders are the third and fourth in a series to be built by Triyards, the liftboats standing at more than 130m operating in water depths of up to 105m, accommodating up to 250 personnel.

Chan Eng Yew, chief executive officer of Triyards, said: “Our stepped up presence in large liftboats reflects the industry’s endorsement of the Group’s strong engineering and fabrication expertise. It also demonstrates increasing market acceptance and growing demand for liftboats.”

Triyards said as a result of the new order its net debt to equity ratio will decreased from 0.5 to 0.3 times by the end of the year.
